Well, yes, I've spent a month and a half picking grapes in Adelaide, and I've read lots of books. Unfortunately I'm trying to save money so I have no exciting adventures to report.
That being said I'll give you a brief run down of the highlights of the last month or so.
I've bought the new Little Birdy EP, which is good, though probably not available in any shops near to the majority of you.
I've bought new tyres for my car, and got it serviced so when I do finally save enough money to move on I'll be slightly more certain it won't fall apart on me immediately.
Oh yes, and best of all, I've picked lots of grapes.
Exciting huh? To be fair I expected some level of dull manual labout on my trip, and I have learned a good deal more about China from my chinese housemate Ian(good chinese name, his real names Peng Yong, though I'm still not certain which is his family name). He's also dragged me out to play basketball several times from which I have successfully confirmed that white men can't jump.
I have sallied forth into pubs on a couple of occasions, the last time being a trip to the Belgian Beer Cafe where I got to sample genuine Belgian Beers, very exotic, they even have Stella on tap. It all reminded me of Edinburgh, even the prices! ;)
You went all the way to Australia to drink Belgian beer? :-)

Hello, Craig.
Posted by: Alisdair at April 4, 2004 12:40 AMHey dude, glad all is ok though somewhat laborious. Although white men can't jump, you can certainly dance. So get your ass back here and come back for a swinging time!
Was at the Ocean Terminal for Vegas, you would have loved it. 20 piece band, everyone dressed up in there hundreds and lots of swinging all night long. Becci, Lorna and Liz were there too.
Glad you are enjoying it but the wooden floors are saying to come back Mother Goose. Especially since you need to come back and sing "Great Balls of Fire" with good old Maverick here!
ANyway, talk soon and keep us updated!
Maverick
Hello!
I'm glad you're not dead. i was worried. (ok, not really, well, just a little, I know you can look after yourself!) but it's good to hear from you again!
and i'm missing your dancing and singing just as much as al is. we are planning a craig style night out though, with non-stop dancing action. but it wont be the same! still, we'll have to make do!
take care, love mo xx
Its good to hear some news! I'm gonna get the new EP online, loved the first one.
I love that bar - used to go there alot when I lived there. Did you try the one beer in the cafe where you have to give your shoe as a deposit! Thats a cool one. Enjoy! ;-)
